TradeArt Policies

Does TradeArt Ltd refund a listing fee or commission to the seller if a buyer pulls out of a sale?

If the buyer backs out of the sale, the seller is entitled to a refund of the listing fees. Or the Seller will be credited a listing fee of the same value to there account.

The Seller will be notified by email once this has occurred.

Buyers that repeatedly default will have their membership suspended.

Does TradeArt Ltd refund the seller the listing fee if the seller pulls out of a sale?

If the sale is successfully completed, or the seller backs out of the sale the seller is not entitled to a refund. TradeArt will keep the listing fee that applies to this item if this occurs.

Does TradeArt Ltd refund a listing fee if a listing is pulled from the site by the artist?

A refund on an item’s listing fee that has been registered with TradeArt Ltd will not be given if the item is pulled by the seller before it has been sold.

In this case TradeArt will keep the listing fee.

Credit card refunds

Buyers cannot pay by CC on the website to sellers. We also have no feature to Issue Refunds off the website. All refund requests will need to contact TradeArt for a refund at info@tradeart.co.nz

What happens once I have sold an item?

Once a member has confirmed that they wish to purchase your listing you will receive an email from TradeArt ltd. This will have the contact details for the buyer. You will then be able to complete the transaction.
Please note that TradeArt is not a party to any sale or transaction between you and the buyer.

The 15% commission fee will then be automatically deducted from your account.
 If you have no credit in your account then you will need to top up so there is a sufficient amount to cover the commission occurred.
This can be done by clicking on “Purchase credit” once you have logged in.

If you are unable to pay by via credit card then you will need to send an email to sean@tradeart.co.nz  to request TradeArt’s bank account details.

You, the seller, must pay any outstanding debts to TradeArt within 3 working days from the date of the sale.
If you do not comply within those 3 days then TradeArt reserves the right to suspended or terminate your membership indefinitely.
